Experience and training
Coen is a seasoned coach with nearly 7 years experience. A graduate of Coach U, he is also a trained NLP Practitioner and is currently working through Newfield Network's "Mastery in Coaching" programme. Fully bilingual, Coen coaches in both Dutch and English.

Strong business and strategic skills
Coen has worked for two up-start computer companies, one successful and one glorious failure, which taught him a lot about business and the importance of strategic planning. He is trained as an internal quality systems auditor

As a self-employed coach for nearly 7 years and the moderator of Europe's premier online coaching community for the last 4 years, Coen knows what it is like to be a coach

Technical experience
Over 20 years in the computing industry in many different roles has given Coen plenty of exposure to different operating systems, software packages, programming languages and more

Email newsletters - Newsletter author since 1999, both text-based and HTML-formatted. Coen has created a fully automated system for HTML newsletter subscription and creation which runs on his own dedicated server

Websites - Designer, creator and programmer of over 20 websites for himself and clients since 1998, from a five page brochure-online to a 400 page database-driven website. Coen uses a mixture of DreamWeaver and hand-coding of HTML. At times he also uses Zope, Python and PostgreSQL

Discussion lists - Moderator and host of discussion lists for coaches since 1999, including the Euro Coach List, Europe's premier online community for coaches

Online payments - Integrated two different online payment systems. Created a system for processing offline payments

Discussion forums - Coen has set up and integrated two different discussion forums

Email coaching - One to one and group email coaching since 1999

Background
Prior to becoming a coach, Coen worked for over 12 years in computing including roles at Infotheek, Shell and Fraser Williams.
