Qualifications
Marianne has been coaching for over six years and in that time she has clocked up over 2000 hours of individual coaching. She is one of a few coaches in the UK to be awarded the Master Certified Coach accreditation with the International Coach Federation (ICF). A graduate of Coach U, her coach training also includes Coachville's Advanced Proficiencies and Coach U's teleclass leader training.

As a successful international mentor coach, she is especially gifted at helping people who want to transition into the coaching profession, work towards accreditation and build a successful coaching business. Marianne is eager to share resources such as her coaching packs and her business success tips, and firmly believes in giving newer coaches strong support from the start. She has worked with coaches, and aspiring coaches, from a wide variety of training schools in the UK and abroad, including Brazil, USA, Holland, Sweden and Greece. Marianne is author of the very successful ebook, So You Want to Become a Coach and co-authored the pioneering and highly acclaimed Firework Career Coaching Programme.

In her private practice, Marianne is one of the UK's leading career coaches, working with women and men, disaffected lawyers and other professionals seeking more fulfilment through career transition. She also enjoys working with entrepreneurs and business owners.

Education and background
Educated at Edinburgh and East London Universities, Marianne has a first class honours degree in sociology. Prior to becoming a coach, Marianne spent over 15 enjoyable years running her own business including ten years research consultancy, and has also worked as the Director of Brent Community Health Council. She has been selected for inclusion in the inaugural UK publication titled 2004 Top Women in Business and Government.
